    The device includes a Broadband Global Area Network(BGAN) portable terminal for internet (up to 492 KBps, 650 KBps for HDR), phone, fax, ISDN, SMS texting, and streaming services from any on the planet other than the poles.

    Operates stationary or in-motion, on land or open ocean. Enclosed in a watertight hardened case, and the case lid is normally closed for full operation. It operates in heavy rain and will transmit with 20mm of ice buildup before transmission issues. It is rated at IP69Kf, which means it can withstand immersion in water up to 1 meter.

    IP code: first digit is solid particle protection, the highest 6 means No ingress of dust; complete protection against contact (dust-tight).
